Introduction
This is a rare opportunity for an Associate Veterinarian to join a veterinarian-led hospital delivering high-quality primary and urgent care in Riverdale, Salt Lake City, Utah. The role is ideal for a veterinarian who values full clinical autonomy, thoughtful medicine, and working within an environment designed to empower clinicians rather than restrict them. With a clear mission focused on supporting veterinarians as medical leaders, this position offers genuine influence over how care is delivered day to day.
Working Hours / Rota
The rota is designed to be flexible and sustainable, supporting both primary and urgent care services. Scheduling is built collaboratively, allowing veterinarians to maintain balance while ensuring continuity of care for patients. This structure is well suited to clinicians who value adaptability and control over their working patterns.
Role Description and Responsibilities
In this role, you will deliver comprehensive veterinary care across both routine primary care and urgent care presentations, managing cases from consultation through diagnostics, treatment, and follow-up. You will practise medicine with full autonomy, supported by veterinarian-developed standards of care and strong clinical mentorship. The position encourages independent clinical decision-making, clear client communication, and continuous improvement through feedback and professional development.
Practice Details
The hospital provides primary and urgent care services for dogs and cats, operating within a modern clinical environment designed to support efficient workflows and high-quality medicine. Clinical standards are developed by veterinarians, prioritising patient outcomes and professional judgement over volume-driven care. The model is built to support long-term career growth, including the opportunity to progress toward future ownership.
Team

The culture is collaborative, mentorship-driven, and forward-looking, offering a unique chance to help shape both team dynamics and clinical standards as the hospital continues to develop.
