About the Role
We are seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join Cedar Creek Animal Clinic, a small animal general practice in Port Orchard, Washington, for a full‑time, four‑day workweek with scheduled surgery and dentistry days. The successful candidate will provide preventive wellness visits, same‑day sickness care, dentistry, and soft tissue elective procedures while supporting a humane, Fear‑Free® environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver reliable medical care and preventive visits to clients and their pets.
- Perform surgeries and dentistry with the support of assistants and LVTs.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients when concerns arise.
- Collaborate with a supportive and collaborative team across all departments.
- Adhere to Fear‑Free® techniques daily.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree.
- State Veterinary Board License in good standing for the state of hire.
- Active DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
