Help Build the Neighborhood Animal Health Team Phoenix Deserves

The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.

At GoodNeighbor Animal Hospital, we're building a neighborhood-centered animal hospital designed around a simple belief: when veterinary teams thrive, pets and families receive better care.

As we prepare to open our first Phoenix hospital in March 2027, we're seeking a doctor who wants to help shape a culture, build lasting client relationships, practice excellent medicine, and create a hospital that becomes a trusted part of the community.

This opportunity is ideal for veterinarians who believe strong medicine and a great life outside of work should exist together.

Why This Opportunity Is Different

As a founding veterinarian, you'll have the opportunity to:

• Help establish medical protocols and standards

• Influence workflows and hospital operations

• Shape the client experience from day one

• Build a collaborative, positive hospital culture

• Develop long-term relationships with patients and families

• Grow alongside a rapidly expanding organization

Your ideas, voice, and leadership will directly impact the future of the hospital.

The Role

As an Associate Veterinarian, you will:

• Deliver comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventive care

• Practice evidence-based medicine with strong diagnostic support

• Perform routine soft tissue surgeries and dentistry procedures

• Develop treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs

• Educate clients through clear, compassionate communication

• Collaborate with a skilled support team and fellow clinicians

• Contribute to an environment focused on learning, accountability, and continuous improvement

• Build meaningful relationships with Phoenix pet families

Whether you're an experienced doctor seeking your next home or an early-career veterinarian looking for strong mentorship and support, we'd love to talk with you. GoodNeighbor was intentionally designed to support veterinarians throughout every stage of their career journey.

Benefits for you:

• Competitive base salary plus and a transparent production compensation model designed to reward the work you actually do
