Finding a veterinary job is easy. Finding a practice you’ll still love five years from now is much harder.
At Onalaska Animal Hospital, we set out to build that kind of practice.
Not by chasing growth for growth’s sake, but by making intentional decisions that support both exceptional medicine and the people providing it.
Every staff hire.
Every equipment purchase.
Every workflow improvement.
Every decision begins with the same question:
How can we help our veterinarians practice exceptional medicine without sacrificing their personal lives?
We’re proud of what we’ve built, but we’d rather you judge for yourself. Read our Google reviews. Visit the hospital. Meet the team.
We think you’ll quickly understand why so many clients trust us and why we believe we have built something truly special.
Maybe you’re not looking for just another veterinary job.
Maybe you’re looking for a place where you can practice medicine the way you believe it should be practiced.
A place where appointments aren’t rushed simply to increase production. Where experienced technicians truly function as technicians. Where you’ll have the diagnostic tools to answer difficult questions, colleagues who enjoy collaborating, and owners who believe the best medical decisions should remain in the hands of veterinarians.
That’s why we built Onalaska Animal Hospital.
We’re a privately owned, rapidly growing small animal hospital located in western Wisconsin

Why western Wisconsin?
The La Crosse and Onalaska area offers something that’s becoming increasingly difficult to find: an outstanding quality of life.
The Mississippi River, the Driftless Region, hiking, cycling, boating, skiing, excellent schools, short commutes, and an engaged community make this a place where careers and families can thrive.
