What You'll Do
- Perform physical examinations and develop treatment plans for companion animals
- Diagnose and treat medical conditions in dogs and cats
- Perform routine surgical and dental procedures
- Educate clients on preventive care and treatment recommendations
- Collaborate with veterinarians and support staff to provide exceptional patient care
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Build lasting relationships with clients and their pets
Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school
- Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Michigan, or eligible to obtain licensure
- Ability to provide high-quality medical care for companion animals
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and client service skills
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
- Commitment to compassionate patient care and exceptional client experiences
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in small animal general practice
- Surgical and dental proficiency
- Interest in preventive medicine and wellness care
- Desire to mentor or be mentored in a collaborative environment
