Job Overview
Orangeville Animal Health is a mixed animal clinic located in northern Illinois bordering Wisconsin. We provide basic medical and surgical options for small and large animals and focus on herd health management.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care for small and large animals, with approximately 70% small animal work and 30% large animal work.
- Share rotating on‑call duties for nights, weekends, and holidays, with scheduled time off to compensate.
- Support herd health management and consultation services for large animal clients.
- Provide after‑hours emergency care for large animal patients only.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) license in both Illinois and Wisconsin.
- DEA and controlled substance licenses.
- Solid foundation in veterinary medicine and willingness to continue learning.
- Experience with mixed animal practice preferred (70% small animal, 30% large animal) but open to negotiation.
