DVM Focus is recruiting an Associate Veterinarian for an established small animal practice in the Jackson metro area. This opportunity offers a broad general practice caseload, experienced team support, flexible scheduling, mentorship, and room to continue developing your clinical interests.

Experienced veterinarians and newer DVMs are both encouraged to explore the opportunity.

What You’ll Do

Your caseload may include:

• Wellness and preventive medicine
• General medical care
• Diagnostic workups and case management
• Routine surgery
• Dentistry
• Same-day sick visits
• Client education and communication
• Collaboration with veterinarians and support staff

You’ll have the opportunity to practice comprehensive small animal medicine while continuing to develop your skills in the areas that interest you most.

What They’re Looking For

• DVM, VMD, or equivalent veterinary degree
• Active Mississippi veterinary license or ability to obtain one
• Strong communication and client-service skills
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach to patient care
• Commitment to compassionate, high-quality medicine
• Interest in continued clinical and professional development

New graduates are welcome, and mentorship is available.

DEA licensure and USDA accreditation are preferred but are not required at the time of application.

Compensation & Benefits

Market-based compensation range: $105,000–$170,000 , depending on experience, qualifications, schedule, clinical skill set, and compensation structure.
