Role Description and Responsibilities

The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical care for companion animal patients across a diverse caseload. Responsibilities include wellness and preventative care, diagnostics, dentistry, surgery, hospitalization management, intensive care, pain management, and client education. The role involves working closely with colleagues and support staff to deliver high-quality patient care while building strong client relationships. This AAHA-accredited hospital offers a broad range of primary, preventative, and advanced veterinary services. Equipment and facilities include digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy and colonoscopy capabilities, dental equipment with dental radiography, an in-house laboratory, an in-house pharmacy, an in-office surgical suite, an isolation ward, and intensive care facilities. The hospital also benefits from access to a Board Certified Surgeon, a Veterinary Technician Specialist in anesthesia and analgesia, and an overnight technician dedicated to hospitalized patient care. Services offered include adult and senior wellness care, flea and tick control, immunisations, microchipping, new kitten and puppy care packages, parasite control, preventative medicine, vaccinations, weight management programmes, wellness examinations and testing, allergy and itchy skin relief, anesthesia, dental care, dental radiography, dentistry, ear checks, euthanasia services, full diagnostics, general surgery, health certificates, health examinations, hospice care, hospitalization, pain management, radiology, routine surgeries, sevoflurane anesthesia, spays and neuters, digital radiology, endoscopy, soft tissue surgery, and ultrasound. Hospital hours are Monday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Tuesday and Wednesday from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Thursday and Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM, and closed on Sundays.
