Associate Veterinarian- Animal Hospital of Redondo Beach

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Associate Veterinarian to join our team at Animal Hospital of Redondo Beach. You will provide high‑quality veterinary care, maintain accurate medical records, communicate effectively with clients and staff, and collaborate closely with the Hospital Manager and Regional Director.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient exams and medical work‑ups
• Perform diagnostic procedures and surgery as required
• Prescribe medications and follow controlled substance protocols
• Maintain accurate medical records
• Promote teamwork and staff efficiency
• Collaborate with the Hospital Manager on weekly priorities and expectations
• Evaluate and monitor hospital protocols from intake to discharge
• Attend daily rounds to uphold the highest standards of care
• Participate in practice management updates and training at all levels
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications (Required)

• Veterinarian degree (DVM or VMD) from an accredited college or university
• Current state veterinary license
• DEA registration
• 1+ years of experience in a veterinary practice
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
• Excellent surgical and dental skills
• Team‑oriented and collaborative work style
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to compassionate, high‑quality veterinary care
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks as needed

• Advanced clinical knowledge in cardiovascular, respiratory, orthopedic, neurological, and other examinations

Pay Range

$160,000 — $180,000 USD
