Silverton Partners is looking for a Venture Capital Associate to join their team in Austin, TX. In this role, you’ll support the investment team by sourcing and evaluating early-stage companies, conducting market research, and assisting with due diligence. This is a great opportunity to work closely with experienced partners and engage with the startup ecosystem.
What You’ll Do
- Source and evaluate new investment opportunities.
- Conduct market research and develop investment theses.
- Build financial models and perform investment analysis.
- Assist portfolio companies and support board members.
- Prepare internal investment memos and reports.
- Network with peers and attend industry events.
What You Need
- 2-4 years of experience in investment or M&A, or significant startup experience.
- Ability to quickly understand new markets.
- Strong analytical skills and knowledge of Excel.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Technical or engineering background preferred.
