This position requires the individual to have strong underwriting and digital initiatives for the organization. Will be expected to work closely with other members of the leadership team and other subject matter experts across the organization.The Associate Underwriting Analyst responsibilities include but are not limited to:Maintain thorough knowledge of the underwriting and technology initiatives, as well as an understanding of how these may impact the overall organization including our members.Serve as point of contact for other departments as respects to our policy administration systemsCollaborate with other departments to provide high level training of how the insurance department utilizes the various digital platforms needed to operate.Assist in the review and analysis of impacts of changes in products, coverages, underwriting rules and forms to our digital platform.Analyze, and utilize data and feedback from Insurance Operations Department to identify opportunities to improve business processes that benefit the overall member and/or broker experience.Serve as a project lead for future technological needs including:Conduct and/or help coordinate/prepare testing projectsManage timelines, and documentation as required by project.Provide underwriting support as directed in an Associate Underwriter role as outlined in their respective job description(s) and Underwriting Authority.Required skills:Good technical P&C underwriting knowledge and skills.
Experience in training of processes and procedures through both formal and informal settings. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors including the location, skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for additional incentive compensation upon achievement of individual and company goals.
