Associate Therapist - Adults & Couples Therapist This position is perfect for a registered AMFT, ACSW, or APCC with experience providing therapy to adults/couples, who loves working relationally with adults and is looking for a home at a professional private pay group practice. Learn more or complete the application questionnaire at our website here: Responsibilities: • Conduct psychotherapy for adult individuals and couples while receiving training and clinical supervision • Complete an average of 20+ appointments a week (full-time) or 15+ appointments a week (part-time) • Manage all clinical admin tasks with strong attention to detail in order to provide high-quality customer service to clients • Complete 120+ hours of paid training in our practice's therapeutic specializations • Attend supervision and staff meetings regularly • Contribute positively to work culture by being supportive and collaborative with teammates. • Manage and coordinate their calendar and client communications, using practice software and technology Qualifications: You are a therapist who is: • Excited to provide couples and sex therapy, and therapy for adults experiencing anxiety and trauma • Relational and who connects strongly to at least one of the following therapy descriptors: experiential, IFS, Gestalt, psychodynamic/psychoanalytic, process-oriented, emotionally-focused therapy, existential, depth psychology. Clients describe you as warm and deeply empathic. You practice good boundaries with clients and colleagues • Extremely organized, responsible, and tech-friendly • Experienced in professional environments and who has strong customer service/interpersonal communication skills • No stranger to the client's experience in therapy. You’ve had therapy yourself and you continue to self-monitor, seek support, and practice good self-care. • Reliable and emotionally secure/grounded and be a lifelong learner who seeks additional resources independently as needed • Experienced with couples and adults in therapy • Affirming of BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and neurodivergent experiences Mandatory requirements: • Have a current State of CA BBS registration as a registered associate marriage & family therapist or associate professional clinical counselor • We are looking for therapists who would like to work at a group practice for the long term (minimum 2 years) • 12 hours of nights/weekends are required during your first year as an associate in order to support you in building a reliable caseload in a timely manner. Must be available to work in our midtown Sacramento office 3+ days a week. Compensation: $50 - $80 hourly
