Associate Technical Trainer, Data Centers @ CBRECBRE is hiring an Associate Technical Trainer, Data Centers to design, deliver, and manage training programs for low-voltage and structured cabling systems in data center and critical environment facilities.Role OverviewAs aAssociate Technical Trainer, Data Center, you will partner with CBRE’s Data Center and Critical Environment business units to identify technical learning needs and deliver scalable, high‑impact training solutions. The role supports operational excellence by ensuring technicians are trained on industry standards, best practices, and hands‑on methodologies for mission‑critical facilities.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Training:Teachlow‑voltage electrical fundamentals(copper and fiber)Coverstructured cabling: pulling, routing, dressing, securing, labelingTrain onpatching, cross‑connecting, splicing, and termination(CAT5e/6/6A, fiber)Demonstratedata center pathways, racks, cabinets, and ladder tray systemsProvidesafety practicesfor work in live data center environmentsConducttraining assessments, remediation, and coachingDeveloptraining reportsContent & Standards:Collaborate with SMEs, field leadership, and operations to validate training materialsCreate instructor‑led content, job aids, simulations, SOPs, and digital modulesEnsure alignment withTIA/EIA, BICSI methodology, and client requirementsDevelop evaluations and measurement tools for skill progression and effectivenessGovernance & Quality:Audit and evaluate learning programs for consistency, compliance, and qualityReview training metrics, feedback, and performance outcomes to improve content and deliveryRequired Skills & QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree (preferred)Technical Skills:2+ years of experience working with low‑voltage electrical wiring and structured cabling1 year of experience working in a data center capacityPulling, dressing, routing, terminating cableKnowledge of industry safety standards & testing equipmentPrevious leadership experience a big plus!Compensation & BenefitsPay: Based on Experience, NegotiableBenefits: Health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) with match, relocation assistanceFor more information please contact:Courtney Doby, Talent Acquisition Partner( )(mailto: )About CBRECBRE is a global leader in commercial real estate services and investment, with a strong focus on building operations, maintenance, and technical training programs.
