Associate Team Lead Linux It Support Engineer
Fulltime role Taylor TX / Austin, TX require limited travel to other sites. Customer - Applied Materials Required Skills: •Familiar and experience with Linux OS – a must. •Familiar and experience with Virtualizations. – a must. •Familiar with network switches and firewall – strong advantage. •Familiar with central storage system – strong advantage. •Familiar with databases – ability to read and writes SQL queries – strong advantage. •Familiar with orchestration. Dockers and Kubernetes – strong advantage.
Roles & responsibilities: •On site support engineer at customer facility or remotely from home. •Providing periodic, predicted support as preventive maintenance and upgrades as scheduled with the team and/or external team. •Providing ad hoc, unplanned support, corrective maintenance. Identify issues, working with the teams till resolution. •Learn, practice, document and be well organized with all layers of work. •Be a team player. Working in a team, global team that helps each other. •Be responsible. Take ownership.
