Associate Surgical Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms, surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures

• Assist surgeons and surgical team members during operative procedures

• Maintain a sterile field and follow infection prevention and safety protocols

• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and provide appropriate instruments and supplies

• Perform surgical counts and ensure proper handling of instruments and equipment

• Assist with room turnover and preparation for subsequent procedures

• Maintain accurate documentation and follow established departmental procedures

• Collaborate with nurses, surgeons, anesthesia staff, and other members of the care team

• Support efficient operating room workflow while maintaining a strong focus on patient safety and quality care
