Our client has a contract to a full-time role. This position is customer-facing and is responsible for monitoring and managing a large, complex global enterprise IT infrastructure. A remote 24/7 team will support this individual, with periodic on-call responsibilities for resolving Severity 1 issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage storage solutions to meet business needs for large enterprise customer environments.
- Monitor storage infrastructure performance and plan capacity accordingly.
- Administer and support SAN, NAS, and cloud storage environments.
- Ensure data integrity and security across storage platforms, including data backup and recovery operations.
- Optimize storage systems for efficiency and performance.
- Develop and maintain documentation for storage procedures and configurations.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in storage engineering.
- Strong expertise in SAN, NAS, and cloud storage technologies.
- Experience with storage performance analysis and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with storage security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
