This is an outstanding opportunity for an individual looking to make an outsized impact and help build a rapidly growing organization.

The ideal candidate thrives in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment and brings a flexible, self-starting, can-do attitude and a will to win. The Associate / Senior Associate will support 26North’s Private Equity platform, with a particular focus on its co-investment program.

Responsibilities

Co-Investments

  • Support the syndication of co-investment opportunities to investors, coordinating the process end-to-end alongside the deal and business development teams in accordance with 26North’s co-investment policy
  • Prepare institutional-quality transaction overviews and marketing materials to educate prospective co-investors on investment merits and diligence areas
  • Manage co-investor relationships and diligence processes, serving as a point of contact from initial screen through closing and ongoing portfolio updates
  • Maintain co-investment tracker across existing investor base and monitor interest to support efficient allocation

Investor Materials & Content

  • Manage inquiries from existing and prospective private fund investors — including RFIs, RFPs, DDQs, NDAs, and ad hoc requests — leveraging internal and external resources to respond to both routine and non-routine questions
  • Proactively populate the strategy’s data room with updated marketing materials and data-driven analysis
  • Partner with colleagues to identify best practices and ensure the quality and consistency of investor-facing materials
  • Work with investment and business development team members on ad hoc projects that support the growth of the Private Equity platform

Qualifications

Experience

  • 3–6+ years of relevant professional experience, ideally including time in a private equity deal underwriting role (e.g. Private Equity Associate) or co-investment syndication role
  • Experience in a direct private equity deal or co-investment process from diligence through final close

Skills & Competencies

  • Technical aptitude and command of private equity concepts, including basic LBO modeling, drivers of financial return, and standard third party diligence/financing workstreams
  • Experience crafting clear and compelling narratives in presentations and analyses for an institutional investor base
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Takes initiative and thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, effectively prioritizing, multi-tasking, and meeting deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail
  • Strong track record and demonstrated commitment to upholding our core values of stewardship, integrity, excellence, teamwork, and respect

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required
