Associate / Senior Associate, Investment Operations

Company Overview:

An investment manager in Boston with private equity and credit funds is hiring an Investment Operations Associate / Senior Associate to join their credit team. The role focuses on providing operational support across liquid credit funds and separately managed accounts.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide operational support for investor relations, finance, and fund management teams.
• Maintain a scalable operations function related to reconciliation and control.
• Daily reconciliation of cash and assets with custodians and brokers.
• Track trading and credit activity daily.
• Reconcile Administrator data and prepare monthly and quarterly reporting.
• Understand complex investment structures/transactions and communicate effectively.
• Analyze, review, and improve working processes and controls.
• Oversee new fund launches and asset transfers for operational readiness.

Qualifications:

• 1-3+ years of financial services experience; bank loan experience preferred.
• Major in Accounting, Finance, or Economics with a 3.25 GPA or higher.
• Proficiency in Excel; experience in Advent Geneva preferred.

Compensation:

Salary: $70,000 – $85,000, Plus Bonus
