Through our recruitment, career development and employee-focused programming, we are committed to fostering a welcoming and inclusive work environment where high-performance talent of diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives can build careers within this exciting and growing industry.This job posting relates to a job opportunity at GSA Management, LLC, a vertically integrated self-storage acquisition, development and management company owned by Ares.Position SummaryThis associate will support the Real Estate Self Storage team in the management of investment portfolios, conducting in-depth financial analyses, and preparing reports on portfolio performance and market trends.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in overseeing investment portfolios, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and performance benchmarksConduct in-depth financial analyses, including cash flow modeling, valuation assessments, and performance trackingPrepare regular and ad-hoc reports on portfolio performance, market trends, and investment opportunities for internal stakeholders and limited partnersParticipate in the due diligence process for potential investments, analyzing financial statements, market conditions, and risk factorsWork closely with cross-functional teams, including acquisitions, finance, fundraising, and operations, to align firm strategiesParticipate in the full lifecycle of debt procurement for properties, including supporting negotiation of term sheets and loan agreements, managing the due diligence process, and coordinating all aspects of the deal through to closingRequired Skills and ExperienceBachelor's degree from an undergraduate institution, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or a related field2–4 years of experience in real estate investment banking, principal investing, or a related financial fieldStrong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and valuation techniquesAdvanced MS Excel modeling skills and proficiency in MS PowerPointStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearlyExcellent attention to detailSelf-motivated and driven; ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentPreferred QualificationsInterest and familiarity with AI models and applications, and their use in a day-to-day capacityReporting RelationshipsDirector Of StrategyThere is no set deadline to apply for this job opportunity.
