Associate, Secondaries Investing

As an Associate in the Secondaries team at CPP Investments, you’ll play a key role in evaluating and executing private equity secondary investments. You’ll conduct research, build financial models, and participate in due diligence while collaborating with a talented team. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to impactful investment decisions in a dynamic environment.

What You’ll Do

• Support the evaluation and execution of private equity secondary investments.
• Conduct industry, market, and company research for investment analysis.
• Develop and maintain financial models and perform valuation analysis.
• Participate in due diligence activities and meetings with external stakeholders.
• Prepare investment memoranda and analytical reviews.
• Monitor the financial performance of portfolio investments.
• Support multiple transaction teams simultaneously.

What You Need

• Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in secondaries or private equity, investment banking, consulting, or a related field.
• CFA designation or progress toward the CFA program is a plus.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Willingness to be based in New York and travel as required.
