With minimal supervision, plans, conducts or monitors experiments, records and organizes data, analyses results, generates robust and reliable data. Ensures contracted studies are conducted in compliance with the respective protocol and applicable guidelines and regulations.
Basic quanlifications: degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related life sciences disciplines; experience in a Biopharmaceutical working environment.
Preferred quantifications and skills: 1) Hands-on experience with in vivo and in vitro pharmacology skills; capable to independently design, implement and analyze studies with proper controls and generate reproducible high quality data. 2) Technical mastery of general molecular biology and cell-signaling analysis techniques including immunoblotting, immunocytochemistry, RT-qPCR, immunoprecipitation, and ELISA.
Responsibilities include: 1) Follows established experimental design and protocols to generate reproducible and reliable results with limited supervision. 2) Plans, conducts, analyzes and records experiments, and provides interpretation of data. 3) Review literature to identify and effectively transfers experimental methods to the lab and makes modifications as necessary. 4) Develops and implements new protocols to address biological questions. 5) Engages coworkers in scientific discussions and communicates data/interpretation to program teams. 6) Skilled and knowledgeable in the use of standard laboratory equipment and with one or more major laboratory techniques. 7) Effectively trouble-shoots equipment and experimental difficulties. 8) Contributes to internal/external reports, papers, presentations, regulatory documents, invention disclosure submissions and/or patents. 9) Follow best practise in ELN entry, data recording, safety and compliances.
