This role performs laboratory techniques, documents work in accordance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines, and supports quality, safety, and operational excellence in the lab.What You'll Be Doing:Execute routine sample preparation techniques to support subsequent biological sample analysisPerform assigned laboratory techniques such as extractions from biological matrices, tissue preparation, or purificationPrepare solutions and reagents while troubleshooting routine experiments as neededDocument testing, observations, calculations, and project work in accordance with SOPs and applicable regulatory guidelinesIdentify and escalate potential performance errors or unusual results to senior laboratory personnelMaintain laboratory equipment, inventory awareness, and good housekeeping practices consistent with 6S standardsCollaborate with cross-functional stakeholders through clear, accurate, and timely communicationSupport training, onboarding, continuing education, safety, quality, and 6S initiativesWhat We Are Looking For:Bachelor's Degree in a Life Sciences discipline required, or High School Diploma or equivalent with an equivalent combination of education and experience6 months of experience in a regulated laboratory environmentProficiency with pipetting techniquesWorking knowledge of applicable regulatory standards within area of responsibility, such as Good Laboratory Practices, GLPKnowledge of laboratory safety and infection control procedures and practices, including standard precautions and hazardous chemical handlingExperience working with automation or specialized laboratory equipmentProficiency with routine and some non-routine laboratory calculations regarding batches and specimensOther equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degreeThe Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed for This Role:Strong attention to detail and accuracy when performing, documenting, and reviewing laboratory workAbility to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a regulated laboratory environmentGood computer skills using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and ExcelAbility to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholdersDemonstrated understanding of functional area responsibilities, systems, and proceduresWhat We Offer You :We put our employees at the center of everything we do and are committed to providing them, and their families, with benefits that meet their diverse and changing needs. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
