The Associate Scientist will support Pfizer’s biotherapeutic programs by executing and qualifying ligand-binding assays (e.g., MSD, Gyrolab, ELISA) for drug and biomarker analysis. Working in a fast-paced environment, this role involves data analysis, interpretation, and reporting to drive scientific decision-making. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with ligand‑binding platforms, strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, and the ability to author technical documentation. A BSc with 2+ years or MSc with 1+ years of relevant laboratory experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the qualification and execution of ligand-binding assays (e.g. MSD, Gyrolab, ELISA) in support of Pfizer’s biotherapeutic programs
- Provide sample analysis and data delivery of drug and/or biomarker/bio measures in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Perform data analysis and interpretation and draw conclusions regarding progress and results of work, utilizing the data for appropriate decision making
- Gather input from colleagues, literature, and additional resources to assist in project advancement
Qualifications
- BSc with at least 2+ years OR MSc with at least 1+ years relevant experience with ligand binding assays (PhD not accepted)
- Knowledge and hands‑on experience executing laboratory experiments utilizing various platforms and demonstrated analytical problem‑solving skills
- Ability to author technical documents such as data summary reports and analytical procedures
- Strong organizational, time‑management skills, and collaborative skills
Location/Schedule
- Fully onsite role in Andover, MA
- Monday - Friday; 40 hours per week role
