Responsibilities
- Provide support to large-scale construction projects
- Perform construction safety field audits and field data collection
- Analyze worker health and safety data
- Educate various stakeholder groups on EHS requirements
- Collect data, create timely reports, and communicate trends from field inspections
- Observe work practices onsite and strive to create solutions that optimize employee health and wellness
- Coach craft worker personnel on OSHA/Client requirements
- Deliver technical training and lead meetings with client and trade partner EHS professionals
- Develop training programs and slide decks for construction EHS topics
- Lead incident investigations to drive future improvement
Requirements
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required
- A degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field is strongly preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of construction safety experience required (7 years minimum, if no degree has been obtained)
- A strong working knowledge of OSHA standards
- Ability to interpret and apply federal, state, and local EHS regulations
- A solutions-oriented mindset
- Demonstrated commitment to professional growth through continuous learning
- Willingness to pursue and ability to obtain advanced safety certifications such as STSC, CHST, or CSP
