Salary: $135,000 - $150,000 per year

Job Details

Key responsibilities include:

• Drafting, reviewing, revising, and negotiating healthcare-related agreements, including master services agreements, professional services agreements, nondisclosure agreements, and business associate agreements.
• Supporting contract lifecycle and litigation management systems.
• Managing and collaborating with outside counsel on assigned matters.
• Investigating and drafting responses to regulatory complaints.
• Providing legal and risk management support to the Legal Department and business partners.
• Participating in occasional regional travel to support legal and business initiatives.

The ideal candidate will hold a Juris Doctor from an ABA-approved law school, have passed a state bar examination, remain in good standing, and be able to obtain Corporate Counsel designation with the Virginia Bar Association. Candidates should bring at least two years of legal experience, preferably within healthcare, corporate law, employment law, regulatory matters, contracts, or an in-house legal environment.

Successful candidates will have strong contract drafting and negotiation experience, legal research and analytical skills, business judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience with contract or document management systems and knowledge of healthcare regulations, privacy law, employment law, or M&A are preferred but not required.
