Duties
- Collaborate with shareholders on investment services projects.
- Participate in business development and client-facing activities.
- Manage multiple matters simultaneously.
- Play a key role in transactions related to investment company reorganizations or mergers.
Requirements
- 4-7 years of experience with registered investment companies and investment advisers.
- Experience with federal securities laws, including the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Securities Act of 1933.
- Experience with mutual funds, ETFs, closed-end funds, and/or independent trustees and directors.
- Admitted in, or taking steps to become admitted in, the applicable jurisdiction.
Education
- J.D. degree with strong academic credentials.
Certifications
- Admitted to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction.
