Associate – Project Finance, Power & Infrastructure

A leading Project Finance bank in New York is looking to add an Associate to its Project Finance team. The team is responsible for both lending and debt advisory for projects across renewables, storage, hydro, transportation, data centers, and thermal power, and is consistently ranked among the top global Project Finance franchises. The Associate will support origination and execution and work closely with senior bankers and partners across the broader platform.

Responsibilities:

• Support structuring, origination, and execution of non-recourse project finance transactions across the Power & Infrastructure sector
• Help build relationships with top-tier and emerging developers, and contribute to new business origination and marketing efforts
• Prepare marketing materials, credit applications, and proposals; participate in client calls, bank meetings, and presentations
• Conduct research and financial analysis, including cash flow modeling and risk assessment on existing and prospective transactions

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of experience in project finance across either Power, Energy, or Infrastructure
• Strong financial modelling skills, with the ability to build and interpret complex cash flow models
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interface with clients and senior bankers
