Position Overview
The Department of General Internal Medicine & Geriatrics at Cleveland Clinic is seeking a board-certified Internal Medicine Clinician Educator to serve as Associate Program Director (APD) in our Osteopathically Recognized Internal Medicine Residency Program at South Pointe Hospital.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate ambulatory experiences and resident scheduling to ensure efficient workflows and quality care.
- Integrate osteopathic principles and manipulative treatment into training and curriculum.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance the ambulatory curriculum in alignment with accreditation standards.
- Lead resident education, mentorship, and wellness initiatives.
- Support program administration, including accreditation, recruitment, evaluation, and strategic planning.
- Participate in inpatient teaching service, outpatient precepting, and private patient clinics in Primary care.
- Provide teaching opportunities for medical students and Advanced Practice Practitioner students.
Qualifications
Board-certified Internal Medicine Clinician Educator with experience in academic internal medicine sites.
