Job Location: Benedict College - Columbia, SC 29204.
Responsibilities
- Advise and register students, participate in retention, placement, and educational activities.
- Demonstrate ability to supervise independent research projects.
- Maintain accurate academic records for students.
- Participate in the development and coordination of course schedules.
- Participate in instructional committees.
- Assist in student recruitment.
- Assume college committee responsibilities.
- Participate in college community service.
- Participate in professional development.
- Demonstrate experience in using technology for course instruction.
- Teach 12 credit hours per semester, conduct scholarly work, and be responsible for professional service including committee work, student advisement/recruitment, and course and program development.
- Teach a combination of Introductory Criminal Justice, Criminology, Criminal Law, Research Methods, and Statistics.
Qualifications
Ph.D. required.
