Job Location: Benedict College - Columbia, SC 29204.

Responsibilities

• Advise and register students, participate in retention, placement, and educational activities.
• Demonstrate ability to supervise independent research projects.
• Maintain accurate academic records for students.
• Participate in the development and coordination of course schedules.
• Participate in instructional committees.
• Assist in student recruitment.
• Assume college committee responsibilities.
• Participate in college community service.
• Participate in professional development.
• Demonstrate experience in using technology for course instruction.
• Teach 12 credit hours per semester, conduct scholarly work, and be responsible for professional service including committee work, student advisement/recruitment, and course and program development.
• Teach a combination of Introductory Criminal Justice, Criminology, Criminal Law, Research Methods, and Statistics.

Qualifications

Ph.D. required.
