Associate Professor – Neuro‑Oncology

Position/Rank: Associate Professor

Department: Neurosurgery (Huntsman Cancer Institute)

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Track: New Position – Fiscal Year 2017 (position to begin)

Responsibilities:

  • Clinical management of patients with primary brain tumors, metastatic disease, and neurologic effects of cancer on the central nervous system.
  • Teaching of fellows, residents, and students.
  • Development of clinical and translational research interests within a highly collaborative and multidisciplinary neuro‑oncology program.
  • Participation in multiple brain tumor cooperative groups and consortiums (NRG, Alliance, BTTTC, Ivy Early Trial Consortium). Numerous clinical trials are open to patient accrual.

Qualifications

  • MD or MD, Ph.D. doctoral degree.
  • Board certification through ABMS in Neurology or Medical Oncology.
  • Completion of a Neuro‑Oncology fellowship.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Neuro‑Oncology through UCNS.
