Role Description The Associate Partner role is a full-time hybrid position based in Anaheim, CA, with flexibility to work from home part of the time. In this role, the Associate Partner supports recruiting, onboarding, and developing financial professionals, helping them build successful practices aligned with New York Life’s standards and values. Day-to-day responsibilities typically include coaching and mentoring agents, facilitating training sessions, and guiding them in providing insurance and financial solutions to clients. The Associate Partner may assist with business planning, performance tracking, and implementing local growth strategies, while collaborating closely with leadership and other team members. This position involves maintaining compliance with industry regulations and company policies, building strong relationships in the community, and promoting New York Life’s products and services in a professional and ethical manner.
Qualifications
- Strong relationship-building, coaching, and mentoring abilities to support and develop financial professionals.
- Experience in insurance, investments, or financial services, with an understanding of retirement and advisory solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for working with diverse clients and team members.
- Organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to plan, prioritize, and track performance goals.
- Comfort with hybrid work arrangements, proficiency with common office and collaboration software, and adaptability to changing business needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Relevant professional licenses (such as state insurance licenses and FINRA registrations) or willingness and ability to obtain them within designated timeframes.
