Associate Medical Director - Gastroenterology

SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital - Madison is seeking an Associate Medical Director for Gastroenterology to lead clinical strategy, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice within the region. In this role, you will collaborate with clinical program leadership to oversee the performance of clinical delivery teams using the organization's continuous improvement operating model. You will also help shape the strategic vision and growth objectives for the clinical programs while aligning with overall organizational goals.

• Operates as an American College of Surgeons-verified Level II Trauma Center, a Joint Commission-certified Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center, and features a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Responsibilities

• Work in a collaborative relationship with the leadership of the designated clinical programs with primary responsibility for leading the strategy, quality, value-based care, and evidence-based practice within the region and local market.
• Oversee clinical delivery team performance through the organization's continuous improvement operating model to drive operational efficiency and improvement in quality, access, cost-reduction, patient and team experience, safety, growth, partnerships, transformation, community connectivity, and culture.
• Collaborate with the team to influence and set the strategic vision, goals, and objectives for clinical program growth while aligning with the organization's strategy in growth and partnerships, exceptional performance, connectivity, culture, and transformative care.
