Associate Materials SpecialistWe are seeking a dedicated Associate Materials Specialist to join our team in a regional healthcare facility located in the Southern United States. This full-time, on-site role involves managing supply requisitions, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of materials, and maintaining organized storage areas.Key ResponsibilitiesReceive and fulfill supply requests from various departments, including managing Periodic Automatic Replacement (PAR) and Point of Issue (POI) replenishment systems.Perform courier duties as assigned to support operational needs.Receive, deliver, and shelve incoming shipments, verifying accuracy and noting any damages or shortages.Prepare procurement requests for materials as needed.Compare shipping notices with received or issued materials to ensure order accuracy.Collaborate directly with department staff to adjust PAR levels according to their needs.Notify management when supplies or special orders are requested.Maintain all equipment used for transporting supplies to ensure safe and reliable operation.Restock inventory using proper rotation, organization, identification, and documentation practices.Keep all material storage areas neat, organized, and compliant with safety standards.Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Director.Education and ExperienceA high school diploma or equivalent is required.
