Associate Market General Manager

Job Summary

As Market General Manager, you will oversee day-to-day operations across multiple medical centers, ensuring financial performance, patient care quality, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and operate an average annual budget of $100M+ across multiple centers.
• Lead strategic planning and execution to achieve operational excellence and growth.
• Partner with clinical leadership to exceed patient care and service metrics.
• Provide training, coaching, and development for center leaders.
• Execute business plans, monitor financials, and manage P&L for each center.
• Address escalated issues, customer resolution, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with centers for process improvement, cost control, and resource allocation.
• Summarize and communicate scorecard metrics and total quality measures.
• Oversee performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and employee development.
• Ensure efficient patient flow, accurate billing, and supply management.
• Engage with strategic partners to expand membership and improve retention.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, public administration, finance, economics, or related field (MBA preferred).
• Minimum 7 years of healthcare administration, budget management, or finance experience.
• Minimum 5 years of direct management/leadership experience in customer/client service.
• Proven experience overseeing multi‑million‑dollar P&L accounts.
• Strong business acumen, strategic planning, resource allocation, and regulatory knowledge.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to influence executives and drive transformational change.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and related software.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel 10‑50% of the time.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $166,652 – $238,075 per year. Additional bonuses or commissions may be earned. Benefits include comprehensive health, dental, vision plans; retirement plan; paid time off; and opportunities for career development.
