Litigation Associate
Our client, a growing national law firm, is seeking a California-licensed Litigation Associate to join its litigation team in Del Mar, California. This is a full-time, in-office opportunity for an attorney looking to gain substantial hands-on litigation experience in a fast-paced environment. The position offers exposure to court appearances, motion practice, pleadings, discovery, and case management, with the opportunity to handle matters from inception through post-judgment proceedings. The firm provides strong support, mentorship, and opportunities for long-term professional growth.
Active California Bar license required
0-3 years of litigation experience preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational and case management abilities
Comfortable managing a high-volume caseload
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Additional state bar admissions are a plus
Manage a caseload of commercial and consumer matters from inception through post-judgment proceedings
Appear in court, both in person and virtually, as needed
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents
Conduct legal research and prepare matters for hearings and other proceedings
Communicate with clients regarding case status, strategy, and developments
Work closely with attorneys, paralegals, and litigation support professionals on case management
Collaborate with team members regarding firm policies, procedures, and case strategies
Develop practical litigation skills through hands-on experience and mentorship
