Our client is seeking a Litigation Associate to join their government liability defense team in Arizona, managing complex civil litigation matters from inception through trial in both state and federal courts.
Responsibilities:
- Manage cases from inception through discovery to resolution, including settlement, motion, or trial
- Handle motion practice, defend and take depositions, argue motions, and try cases
- Draft motions and related filings in state and federal court
- Work collaboratively within a team environment under partner supervision
- Manage multiple cases simultaneously
- Specialized knowledge in complex civil litigation defense
- Strong experience drafting motions and filings in state and federal court
- Proficiency in LexisNexis and Westlaw
- Excellent writing, research, interpersonal, and communication skills
- JD from an accredited law school
- Active bar admission in the State of Arizona
