Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP is seeking a 4th–5th year Associate to join the Litigation practice group in its Los Angeles office. This is a full-time, mid-senior level position requiring significant experience in managing complex litigation matters from investigation through trial and settlement.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree and Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school.
• Member of the California State Bar in good standing.
• 4th–5th year experience in litigation.
• Strong academic credentials and exceptional research, analytical, oral advocacy, and writing skills.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Handle and manage all aspects of litigation, including fact investigation, pleadings, discovery, experts, motions, pretrial proceedings, trial, and settlement.
• Draft complaints, answers, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
• Prepare witnesses for depositions and manage the filing and service of pleadings.
• Develop and maintain strong business and client relationships.
• Manage junior attorneys to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work product under pressure.

Compensation

Salary Range: $310,000–$365,000 (Final offer dependent on skills and experience).
