The Quality Control Department aims to be a full‑service laboratory offering product testing to ensure they meet predetermined quality standards, conduct complaint testing, and provide customer support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform routine and non‑routine qualification of raw material, in‑process samples, and finished products using a variety of analytical techniques and instrumentation.
  • Follow the laboratory’s procedures for specimen handling and processing, test analyses, reporting, and maintaining records of test results.
  • Interpret test results accurately and promptly, identifying any deviations from specifications or quality standards.
  • Adhere to the laboratory’s quality control policies and document all quality control activities, including instrument and equipment verifications, procedural calibrations, and maintenance performed.
  • Follow the laboratory’s established policies and procedures whenever test systems are not within the laboratory’s established acceptable levels of performance.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to investigate and resolve quality‑related issues.
  • Ensure other assigned tasks are completed as necessary.
  • Perform other delegated tasks, as required.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of quality control experience in a regulated industry.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Detail‑oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and precision in all work activities.
  • Computer proficiency, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Manual dexterity required to operate and manipulate equipment.
  • Frequent standing and walking around the lab; long hours of sitting on the computer may be required.
  • Experience in ELISA, IFT, Blot, and other microbiology & immunology testing principles & techniques.
  • Previous experience working in a quality control laboratory within a manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding of quality assurance principles, GMP/GLP guidelines, and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, ISO).

Compensation

Base salary range: $22.00/hr – $27.88/hr for this full‑time position. The actual base pay offered will consider internal equity, work location, and additional factors such as job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
