Job Overview

Alton’s Aircraft Financial & Technical Services team provides comprehensive support in the aircraft leasing and financing industry, from strategy to transaction execution. Associates work closely with principals to perform commercial expertise and rigorous analysis to support aircraft and spare engine investments and financings. The internship is a full‑time position with a base salary range of $87,500–$97,500. Initial training will be provided to help you grow and excel.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work on client engagements to gather, analyze, and interpret data to forecast how specific aircraft will be leased, operated, and maintained, and the cash flows exchanged during leases.
  • Conduct market research and perform quantitative and qualitative analyses, including financial model development.
  • Contribute to the company’s growth within an entrepreneurial environment and support the development of intellectual property.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in STEM or a related discipline with strong academic performance from a top institution.
  • Strong interest in and passion for the aviation industry.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving skills.
  • High level of motivation and drive for excellence.
  • Attention to detail and focus on work quality.
  • Comprehension of finance fundamentals and strong analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong programming skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft VBA and/or Python is a strong positive.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and within tight deadlines.
  • Desire to work in a multicultural, diverse, and team‑oriented environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Limited travel is anticipated.
