Associate Interior Designer

Light & Dwell is seeking a talented and highly organized Design Associate to support our Designers across residential projects. This is a remote position supporting projects from coast to coast and combines creative design support, technical documentation, sourcing, and project organization.

Responsibilities:

• Create and update drawings under the Designer’s direction
• Source furnishings, fixtures, materials, and custom pieces
• Build presentations, mood boards, product pages, and material palettes
• Create and maintain specification books and build-team documentation
• Research product details, pricing, dimensions, and lead times
• Order, track, label, organize, and return samples
• Maintain organized project files, drawings, and presentations
• Support procurement handoff and travel to job sites as needed

Qualifications:

• Interior design education or relevant professional experience
• Advanced proficiency in drawing and presentation software AutoCAD and/or Revit with a strong ability to produce detailed build documentation
• Strong visual eye and alignment with the Light & Dwell aesthetic
• Exceptionally organized, accurate, xhqgsiq and detail-oriented
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment
• Strong follow-through and commitment to completing tasks thoroughly and on time
• A warm, personable team member who communicates well and enjoys working with others
• Resourceful, collaborative, and eager to grow
• Able to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities
