Associate Housekeeping Technician - Certified Surgical Cleaning Technician Preferred

Job Summary: This role is dedicated to ensuring a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in healthcare settings, adhering to strict infection control and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in assigned areas, including operating rooms and common spaces.
• Clean and disinfect surfaces and equipment following established protocols.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Properly handle, separate, and dispose of regular and biohazardous waste.
• Adhere to infection prevention, safety, and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with team members and work independently to fulfill department needs.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
• Previous related experience is advantageous.
• Certification as a Surgical Cleaning Technician is preferred.
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience recommended.

Work Schedule: Part-time, 1st shift (early morning hours), approximately 18.75 hours per week with weekend and holiday rotations as needed.
