Associate General CounselEnvision Radiology, a 100% ESOP-owned company, seeks an Associate General Counsel to join the team! Monday - Friday | Position Pay Range: $178,280 - $222,850 Opportunity for an additional, discretionary bonus available The ideal candidate is located in or open to relocating to Colorado Springs, COSummary/ObjectiveThe Associate General Counsel will provide expert legal advice to and guide the organization's business units and senior management on a broad range of matters, including General Business Matters, Contracts, Litigation, Employment/Labor, Transactions, Healthcare Regulatory and other areas as needed.Essential Functions1. Advises internal stakeholders on a wide range of general business matters, including corporate matters, joint ventures, human resources issues, transactions, contracts and patient incidents2. Prepares and negotiates contracts, in conjunction with General Counsel and internal Contracts Manager3. Leads initiatives on corporate structuring and corporate/contract management4. Analyzes and researches specific healthcare regulatory topics, in conjunction with General Counsel and internal Compliance Officer5. Liaises with outside counsel on specialized research topics (e.g., real estate, ERISA, healthcare regulatory)6. Deputizes for General Counsel on legal matters7. Oversees outside counsel on litigation, in conjunction with internal Director of Legal Operations8. Other duties as assigned. The employee is frequently required to talk and hear.TravelMinimal travel is expected for this position.Job QualificationsMinimum Qualifications/Experience:• A minimum of 7-10 years of legal practice with a law firm or in-house legal department• Good sense of judgment on practical risk vs. technical risk• Excellent organizational, communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills• Ability to operate autonomously, as appropriate, and desire to take initiative• Strong interpersonal skills to fit in amongst collegial colleagues• Preference for willingness to relocate to Colorado Springs, CO (relocation expenses would be reimbursed).
