DRT3PL is an order fulfillment and shipping operation in the Peptide industry with approximately 35 employees. We are looking to hire an Associate Fulfillment Director to oversee warehouse and fulfillment operations, supporting the Director of Fulfillment in managing teams, processes, and performance to ensure accurate and timely order delivery.
Role Overview
An Associate Fulfillment Director is a mid-to-senior leadership position within a fulfillment or distribution center. This role typically supports the Director of Fulfillment by managing day-to-day operations, supervising teams of associates, and ensuring that orders are processed efficiently and accurately.
They act as a bridge between operational staff and senior management, helping implement strategies, monitor KPIs, and maintain high standards of customer service
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate warehouse associates and supervisors, ensuring high morale and productivity
- Operational Oversight: Manage order fulfillment processes including receiving, put-away, inventory management, picking, packing, and shipping
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks, implement standard operating procedures, and optimize workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Technology Management: Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS), order management systems (OMS), and other logistics software to track performance and maintain data accuracy
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and company policies
- Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs such as order fulfillment rate, pick accuracy, dock-to-stock time, and cost per order, reporting results to senior leadership
- Special Projects: Assist with strategic initiatives, process redesign, or technology deployment as directed by the Director of Fulfillment
Required Skills and Competencies
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, often with experience supervising 20+ associates
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to monitor KPIs and optimize operations
- Technical proficiency with WMS, OMS, TMS, and other logistics platforms
- Excellent communication and organizational skills to coordinate across teams and departments
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining accuracy and safety
