Associate Engineer

New engineers work closely with all levels of engineers in the company and have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects.

Day to Day:

· Preparing PE / SE stamped design plans and calculations for temporary and permanent systems on construction projects

· Design using steel, concrete, timber, and masonry construction materials

· Written and verbal communication with general contractors and engineering/drafting project team

· Some travel to project sites around the U.S.

Requirements:

Experience: 2 - 3 years of experience working full-time for an engineering firm or construction company

Degree: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Civil Engineering (structural focus), or Structural Engineering, or Architectural Engineering

EIT licensure by hire date

Good communication skills
