The ideal candidate will assist in various legal matters with a focus on employment and labor law, providing support in negotiations and research to achieve favorable outcomes for our clients. Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and analysis on employment and labor law issues
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for clients
- Represent clients in a variety of legal proceedings related to employment law
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on compliance with labor laws
- Assist in the preparation of legal documents and pleadings
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and development
- Maintain accurate records of legal proceedings and client communications
- Stay updated on changes in employment and labor law regulations
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to draft contracts
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience representing plaintiffs is a plus
- Wage and hour dispute experience
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the CA bar and in good standing
- 5+ years experience in employment law and labor law
