Key Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with established and emerging Medical Experts across the Dermatology landscape.
  • Conduct compliant Medical Expert engagements to generate insights supporting strategic priorities.
  • Facilitate discussions using approved resources to inform marketing and educational strategies.
  • Capture, synthesize, and communicate actionable insights to cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Support peer-to-peer education via expert insights, speaker development, and education planning.
  • Moderate approved educational programs and peer exchanges per company policies.
  • Lead/support advisory boards, insight forums, speaker initiatives, and other marketing programs.
  • Coordinate Medical Expert engagement for congresses, society meetings, and external events.
  • Partner with Marketing, Medical Affairs, HCP Education, and Congress teams to execute aligned strategies.
  • Use digital tools and CRM platforms to improve planning, insight generation, and collaboration.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (related field); MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years in Thought Leader/Medical Expert engagement, field-based/regional marketing, HCP education, MSL/account management, medical communications, or related pharma/biotech role.
  • Reside in Los Angeles, CA area; no relocation. Territory: CA, OR, WA, HI. 60–80% travel; must drive/fly within territory. Valid driver’s license required.
  • Proven compliant relationship‑building with healthcare professionals and external stakeholders.
  • Strong field-based marketing/engagement, insight generation, peer-to-peer education, congress planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, presentation, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Experience with CRM/digital engagement/insight capture tools.
  • Financial/budget acumen; commitment to compliance and ethical decision‑making.

Desirable

  • Rheumatology therapeutic area expertise; field leadership experience.
  • Cross-functional experience across Marketing, Medical Affairs, HCP Education, and Congress Strategy.

Travel/Driving

  • Driving is an essential function; must have a fully valid, unrestricted driver’s license.

Compensation & Benefits (per posting)

  • Salary range: $145,600–$270,400/year. Performance-based cash incentive; possible annual equity.
