What You'll Do

Research Program Leadership

  • Partner with Research Leads, Project Team Leads, and functional representatives to drive execution of partnered and internal research programs.
  • Develop and maintain integrated project plans, timelines, milestones, risks, assumptions, and dependencies.
  • Facilitate cross-functional project team meetings and ensure alignment on objectives, priorities, and deliverables.
  • Track program progress; identify, communicate, and mitigate risks.
  • Support program governance (portfolio reviews, stage gates, and leadership discussions).
  • Partner with CMO, Alliance Management, TechOps, and other functions to support transition from Research to early development.
  • Coordinate activities/communications with external collaboration partners as appropriate.

Research Operations & Strategy

  • Contribute to strategic initiatives to enhance Research operations, governance, portfolio visibility, and effectiveness.
  • Support portfolio planning, resource discussions, and operational reporting.
  • Develop materials and analyses for leadership decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Implement and sustain operational excellence initiatives.

Who You Are And What You Bring

  • Bachelor's in a scientific discipline with 12+ years drug development experience; or advanced degree (MS, PhD, MBA) preferred with commensurate experience.
  • Demonstrated project management and drug development expertise; independently drive complex activities.
  • Ability to balance tactical execution with strategic leadership across development stages and leadership levels.
  • Experience managing remote teams and/or through external alliances preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of PM methodologies, concepts, techniques, and tools; significant PM role experience required.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite and SmartSheet and/or other project management software.

Compensation/Benefits

  • Expected salary range: $162,500-$227,500/year; includes compensation, bonus and equity, plus benefits (health/welfare plans, non-accrual paid time off, holiday shutdown, commuter benefits, 401K match, lunch in office).
