University of Florida is hiring an Associate Director, Research Administration. This position leads the development and execution of applied research programs aligned with national security priorities, coordinates with sponsors and partners, supports proposal development, and assists in strategic planning to advance the ARNS Lab's mission at UF's Jacksonville campus.
Highlights
- Lead applied research program development in AI, microelectronics, space systems, advanced materials, and biosecurity.
- Translate sponsor priorities into actionable research plans and coordinate interdisciplinary faculty teams.
- Support proposal development for federal sponsors including DoD and Intelligence Community partners.
- Engage government sponsors, industry partners, and help structure collaborative research agreements.
- Contribute to strategic planning and coordinate internally with UF research, compliance, security, HR, and communications units.
- Required qualifications: Master’s degree with four years’ relevant experience or Bachelor’s degree with six years’ relevant experience; ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Preferred experience with federally funded national security research, DoD or government contracting mechanisms, and proposal development.
- Collaborate closely with ARNS Lab leadership and UF Research offices.
- Salary commensurate with education and experience.
