Associate Director, Operations Finance

Carrier is currently searching for an Associate Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) for Global Operations. The role will be responsible for the key FP&A deliverables for operations including long range and annual planning, periodic forecasting, monthly and quarterly business review preparation. The Associate Director will continually monitor and advise operations leadership on operating results and trends, ensuring performance to communicated commitments.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business and finance leaders to develop quarterly, annual, and five-year plans and monitor progress against key financial objectives for Operations (Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Logistics).
• Provide analysis, recommendation, and explanation of monthly operating results and quarterly results.
• Develop and implement procedures and processes to reduce cost, manage budget and expand productivity opportunities.
• Communicate recommendations to the Senior leadership.
• Lead large-scale, cross-functional projects. Provide support on key financial transactions and Capex investment decisions for Carrier Operations including but not limited to global factories and ESG.
• Work with the broader Carrier FP&A organization to drive efficient and effective processes, driving standardization and centralization of activities where possible.
• Lead the development of an effective FP&A organization and its members. Ensure timely and complete feedback provided to all associates, which will enable them to improve their overall performance and contribution to Carrier.
• Be responsible for the performance of other tasks related to this position as they are assigned.
• Travel 10%.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance
• Minimum 10 years prior Finance experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading FP&A activities in a large, global industrial environment.
• Management and leadership knowledge to lead cross-department project teams or manage across multiple related areas.
• Operations finance experience.
• Showing demonstrated analytical abilities and skills in communicating with all levels of the organization is essential with a passion for continuous improvement.
