Leading a dynamic frontlist production team, the full-time remote Associate Director of Production will manage a portfolio of 40-45 titles annually while coaching production managers and ensuring high-quality standards across various children's book formats. Key responsibilities Supervise and coach the production team in scheduling, prepress, estimating, printing, and binding processes Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide editorial options and keep projects on track regarding schedule, budget, and quality Maintain strong vendor relationships, negotiate prices, and oversee quality control reviews Required qualifications 15 years of book production experience, with at least 10 years in children's publishing Excellent knowledge of all facets of book production and manufacturing Experience in people management is a plus Working knowledge of Biblio and RSuite is desirable Familiarity with the Google platform is desirable
